Hack #10: Why can’t my PMs book or see certain things inside the Schedule Board in Dynamics 365 Project Operations?

Applies To: Project Operations for resource/non-stocked based scenarios, Lite deployment – deal to proforma invoicing

I have seen this error pop up when users get assigned the OOTB Security Roles, such as Project Manager, Project System, Project Approver, and others.

The behavior is: One a user tries to book a resource in the schedule board, and they get a pinkish top bar error saying it they can’t:

The message is something along these lines and it actually gives you the table access that it is missing!

Two, parts of the schedule board display this error, and they cannot see the records (Open Requirements Tab for instance):

Error Message: Something went wrong

Try reloading the page. If you still see this message, please contact your administrator to file a support request.

This is a security access issue that can be resolved by granting access to these tables inside the security role(s), and normally these are the culprits:
